This Quality Policy describes the requirements for the quality of the Submitted Content that is presented on bab.co and its extensions. Any capitalized words that are not explained here have already been explained in Our Terms of Use and Our Privacy Policy.
Content Quality
All courses uploaded to Our platform have to meet the following standards as a minimum before they are uploaded to Our platform:
- The content of the course must match the title of the course
- The course has to provide valuable content to learners
- The course should contain at least 10 learning hours worth of content
- The breakdown of the content of the course has to be clear and logical
- The course landing page should have a course image that is at least 750 x 422 pixels
- The course title should clearly reflect the course’s content
- The course description should contain at least 200 words
- The benefits of the course should be clear and concise
- The requirements of the course should be clear
- The targeted audience should be stated
- The materials included should be stated
Audio Quality
In order to publish your course, each of your course videos must contain an audio track that plays from both speakers (left and right channels). The quality of the audio must be clear enough that it is not distracting for students.
Please note that we do not allow the use of text to speech software as it affects the quality of the course and disrupts the trust that is supposed to be built between the student and their instructor.
We also advise against using microphones that are built in laptops as the audio quality is often inadequate. Instead, We recommend recording the audio separately from the video using a good quality microphone and then using video editing software to combine the audio with the video.
Video Quality
In order to publish your course, you must have at least 120 minutes of video content in your course. Additionally, we require that video content is HD quality, with a resolution of at least 720p. Make sure that the camera you are using to record the course can shoot in at least 720p.
A quick search on the internet will let you know whether the recording device of your choice is suitable or not.
Inferior Quality Content
All courses are submitted for review prior to being published. Any course that is found to not match the quality standards will not be published. Published courses that are later on discovered to be noncompliant with Our quality standards may be taken down at any time without prior notice to the instructor.
Quality Check
All content that is not up to the quality standards will be given a chance to be edited and re-submitted before publishing.
